|Description:||The Johns Hopkins Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is seeking a full-time clinical research fellow. The fellow will be working under the mentorship of Dr. Robin Yang & Dr. Richard Redett, investigating various topics within craniomaxillofacial surgery such as cleft care, orthognathic surgery, craniosynostosis, facial trauma, as well as topics such as medical education and health disparities. There will also be opportunities to participate in translational, facial transplantation research.
Education: will also have the opportunity to participate in weekly didactic educational activities such as grand rounds, cadaver dissections, and simulation surgery sessions.
The program accepts two total applicants per cycle.
A minimum one year commitment is required for accepted medical students, typically between their third and fourth year of medical school.
General surgery residents are expected to commit a minimum of one year, though a two year commitment is encouraged.
