The recent call for mentees for the PSRC Mentorship Program cycle yielded an overwhelming response of more than 60 Mentees! The Mentorship Committee is in need of more Mentors with which to match them.
Current Mentors include:
Please consider serving as a Mentor during the 2019-2020 Mentorship Program cycle! To be signed up as a Mentor, email the administration offices at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Mentorship Program pairs established plastic surgery researchers with young faculty, fellows, residents, or research fellows to provide them with the unique opportunity to gain experience from seasoned research veterans.
The Mentorship Program will be a 1-year time commitment for both mentors and mentees. Recommended activities for the 1-year period include meeting at the 2019 PSRC Annual Meeting Mentorship Reception, phone and email exchanges throughout the year, and connecting at affiliated meetings when possible. Reminders are sent throughout the year to encourage regular communication between mentors and mentees.
The PSRC Mentorship Committee will match mentors and mentees and contact all parties accordingly by mid-April so that pairs can plan to meet in Baltimore at the PSRC 2019 Annual Meeting.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
