The Membership Committee hosted a successful kick-off breakfast for the PSRC Mentorship Program during the Annual Meeting in New York City. Online Membership Applications & Revised Candidate Membership Category
The Research Council offers a streamlined online membership application process available at Please encourage your colleagues and trainees to apply! Applications are all-electronic, and so is the process of securing PSRC member sponsorship. As a PSRC member, you may be asked by a membership applicant to support his/her application. If you are asked, you will receive an email from the PSRC administrative office with instructions to confirm your support using an electronic form. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the administrative office at or 978.927.8330.

Additionally, the PSRC now welcomes medical students and others in a training program related to plastic surgery, in addition to plastic surgery residents and fellows, as Candidate Members. Please encourage your students and colleagues-in-training to apply for membership in this inclusive Research Council.

Efficiencies are being applied to Research Council financials and we are utilizing a thorough process for financial planning and investment oversight. PSRC ended 2013 with approximately $313,000 in assets and a $34,000 operating surplus. In 2014 the Research Council is introducing a few new initiatives including the first PSRC/PSF combined pilot research grant for $10,000, the mentorship program which will include a breakfast meeting at the ASPS in October 2014, and increased PSRC committee activity... PSRC Members Breakfast at ASPS Conference - October 13, 2014
SAVE THE DATE for the PSRC Member Breakfast at the ASPS conference in Chicago, tentatively planned for Monday, October 13, 2014. Breakfast will begin at 7:00 AM. The breakfast is a great opportunity to network with colleagues and learn about the latest Research Council business and initiatives in the pipeline. Additional information and specifics will be available on the PSRC website soon. The Fall Mentorship Breakfast will follow the Business Meeting.
